Although INK London is extremely hard wearing it is not bulletproof and will need a little help.

  • Gel polishes do not like water or cleaning products so wearing gloves when washing up or spring cleaning will help protect your manicures

  • Chlorinated water and excessive sun can cause damage to your polish as will sun tan lotions and oils and insect repellent

  • Using Cuticle Oil at least twice a day (especially at night before going to bed) will keep your natural nails and the skin surrounding them healthy, moisturised and flexible which will prolong the life of your INK London manicure

  • Find the end of sellotape and Clingfilm are to blame for the majority of nail polish casualties as are potato peeler and cheese graters.

  • PLEASE DO NOT USE YOUR NAILS AS TOOLS

HOWEVER – We all lead busy lives so please don’t let your nails dictate what you can and can do.  Any problems just let me know and I will do what I can to get them looking perfect again.

Should any lifting or chips appear during the first 7 days I will carry out a repair for free. However any repairs after 7 days will be chargeable

If something you have done has caused a chip or lifted an edge of your polish manicure, please do NOT pick or pull at the area, as this will cause any damage to increase.  Please call or text me on 07824826678 so that I can assess the nail and decide if a repair is necessary.

If you wish to temporarily change the colour of your nails whilst wearing INK  you can use nail enamel over INK but please be sure to use a Non-Acetone Remover.

If you decide you would like to remove your Gelish/Shellac without having them re polished I retail removal kits within the salon for £10, this includes everything you need to remove your polish.  Alternatively book an appointment in salon for removal and a mini manicure for £9 so that your natural nails look perfectly groomed.
